Abstract
The smoothness of container unloading activities is one of the important factors in supporting the effectiveness of warehouse operations and logistics distribution. However, in its implementation, there are still several obstacles such as limited human resources, inadequate unloading equipment conditions, and work systems that have not been implemented effectively. These problems may cause delays in the unloading process, increased waiting time, and decreased warehouse operational efficiency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of human resources, equipment conditions, and work systems on the smoothness of container unloading activities at the warehouse of PT Berlian Transtar Abadi Logistics Surabaya Branch. The research method used was quantitative with a survey approach through questionnaires distributed to unloading workers and service users. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. The results of the analysis show the regression equation: Y = 4,125 + 0,356 X 1 + 0,421 X 2 + 0,287 X 3 + µ The t-test results indicate that the variables of human resources, equipment conditions, and work systems have a positive and significant partial effect on the smoothness of container unloading activities. In addition, the simultaneous test results show that the three independent variables jointly have a significant effect on the smoothness of container unloading activities. Therefore, improving the quality of human resources, providing and maintaining adequate equipment, and implementing effective work systems are highly necessary to support the smoothness of unloading operations in the company warehouse.
