Abstract
This Essay is based o the needs and developments of technology in Indonesia. PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia branch Sangatta seeks to getting full the needs of the peoples by improving the quality of agency services. Writing research uses qualitative research methods, aiming to get results in the form of data through the fact on the natural condition as a direct source to the instrument of the own research. The analysis methods used include interviews, observation, study documents and library. From this methods can help the writing of this paper smoothly and well. The results of this Essay is a form of agency service by PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia in handling MV. Samjohn Vision. In the form of its service is constrained by the lack of agent ability in using foreign languages and the lack of coordination among agents in monitoring the ships that will be docked at Tanjung Bara Special Terminal. In addressing PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia as an agent has sought training in the use of foreign languages and arranged in such a way that interagency coordination continues so as to meet the expected target.
