Abstract
Accu battery is an electro chemical device that is made to distribute electricity to the engine starter system, ignition system, lights and other electrical components. The function of Accu Batteries is currently , especially as a voltage source for flexible types of equipment. The purpose of this observation is to find out how , maintain and repair Accu Batteries. This observation uses descriptive and qualitative methods. data collection was carried out by means of interviews, documentation, observation by observing when the author carried out land practice. From the observations made by the author that KN Kumba has carried out maintenance and repair of battery batteries according to work instructions and according to schedule. From the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that maintenance of battery batteries To find out how much electric current is stored in the battery can be determined by checking the specific gravity of the electrolyte, namely measuring the percentage ofsulfuric acid that is still contained in the electrolyte.
