Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Vehicle Volume, Rush Hours, Road Repairs, and Illegal Parking on Traffic Congestion. The research method employed is a quantitative approach. The study population consists of 21,100 road users along the Ciputat route, with an incidental sampling technique applied to 100 respondents. Data sources include both primary and secondary data, analyzed using multiple linear regression with the aid of IBM SPSS V.27, producing the following regression equation: Y = -0.956 + 0.314X1 + 0.271X2 + 0.326X3 + 0.153X4 + µ. The findings indicate that there is a positive and significant partial effect, with the significance value of Vehicle Volume being 0.262 > 0.05, suggesting that the regression model does not exhibit heteroscedasticity. The significance value of Rush Hours is 0.402 > 0.05, indicating no heteroscedasticity. Similarly, the significance value of Road Repairs is 0.614 > 0.05, and that of Illegal Parking is 0.695 > 0.05, both of which imply no heteroscedasticity in the model. The t-test results show that all independent variables, namely Vehicle Volume (X1), Rush Hours (X2), Road Repairs (X3), and Illegal Parking (X4), have a positive and significant influence on Traffic Congestion (Y). The regression test results reveal that the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) is 0.506, meaning that Vehicle Volume, Rush Hours, Road Repairs, and Illegal Parking contribute 50.6% to Traffic Congestion. Meanwhile, the remaining 49.4% (100% - 50.6%) is influenced by other variables not included in this study. Keywords: Vehicle Volume, Rush Hours, Road Repairs, Illegal Parking, Traffic Congestion
