Abstract

The importance of cleaning tank and tank preparation in MT. Bauhinia. Tank cleaning is a tank washing process that aims to maintain the quality of the loading space so that the loaded load is maintained by its quality and quantity. The purpose of this research is to find out the causes of less optimal loading space and to find out whether tank procedures are cleaning in MT. Bauhinia is in accordance with the tank cleaning guide. Data retrieval methodused in data retrieval used in this study is premier data and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the less optimal tank cleaning is done on MT. Bauhinia because surveyor soften find the cargo hold that is still wet, the inciden to ccurs because of the lack of knowled geof the crew on the application of tank cleaning procedures. Base don’t the facts that have been faced, several things can be done to solve problems on board. Keywords : Execution, tank cleaning, loading tanks
