Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of operator performance, loading and unloading equipment, cargo handling, and supervision on the smooth flow of container loading and unloading at the Tanjung Emas Port in Semarang. In this study, the objects taken were operational employees from users of loading and unloading services. Data sources include primary and secondary data. The population and sample in this study were 63 respondents who use container loading and unloading services at the Port of Semarang. Data collection was carried out using observation, literature study, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique was multiple linear regression, which was first tested through validity and reliability tests and classical assumption tests (autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, normality). The results of the analysis using the statistical tool SPSS V.20 program obtained the multiple linear regression equation: Y = 2,506 + 0,293.X 1 + 0,384.X 2 + 0,235.X 3 + 0,275. X₄ + µ All variables studied showed a positive and significant influence on the smooth flow of loading and unloading. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square = 0.655) was 65.5%. The coefficient of determination was 65.5%, while the remainder (100% - 65.5% = 34.5%) was influenced by other variables outside the study. So the conclusion of this study shows that based on the results of the multiple linear regression test, a constant value of 2.506 was obtained. This indicates that the average smoothness of loading and unloading flow is 2.506 if there is no improvement in the variables of Operator Performance, Loading and Unloading Equipment, Cargo Handling and Supervision.
