Abstract

The logistics industry plays a vital role in supporting both domestic and international trade activities, particularly in the export and import processes. In Indonesia, logistics companies are required to provide fast, secure, and efficient services while complying with customs regulations. To support this, the Indonesian government has implemented CEISA (Customs Electronic Information System Application) 4.0, a digital platform developed by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) to enhance the efficiency and transparency of customs administration processes. This system allows for automated and integrated input and tracking of customs documentation. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, such as technical issues, data input errors, and a lack of competent human resources to operate the system. This study aims to provide a deeper understanding of CEISA 4.0 procedures, identify common issues, and explore solutions and development opportunities. The findings are expected to contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of customs processes and fostering synergy between logistics companies, customs authorities, and other related agencies.
