Abstract
Indonesia has established several shipyard companies engaged in shipping, one of which is PT Janata Marina Indah Semarang which focuses on the production and repair of ships located in Semarang. The company PT. Janata Marina Indah, was established in 1977 and actively accepts orders for the manufacture of new buildings of all kinds of ships. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Macro Examination is a non-destructive testing method used to visually view the surface structure of metals on a large scale (macroscopic), without the aid of a microscope. The goal is to observe the macrostructure of metals, such as cracks, porosity (cavities) of the weld layer (bead), penetration, and weld defects, segregation (separation of metal elements). The data that has been obtained is then collected for further analysis using the Non Destructive Test (NDT), Visual and Rockwell hardness test. This HRB test is known to have 3 different values from each Haz and Parent Welding point. The results in this welding test are known to have 3 different values, namely point 1 value 79, point 2 value 82 and point 3 value 78 then from these results the average is known, which is 79.66. The results in this haz test are known to have 3 values, namely point 1 value 59, point 2 value 54 and point 3 value 53 then from these results the average value is known, which is 55.33. The results in this master test are known to have 3 values, namely point 1 value 88, point 2 value 93 and point 3 value 89 then from these results the average value is known, which is 90. This HRC test is known to have 3 different values from each Haz and Parent Welding point. The results in this welding test are known to have 3 different values, namely point 1 value 58, point 2 value 63 and point 3 value 64 then from these results the average is known, which is 61.66. The results in this haz test are known to be 3 values, namely point 1 value 99, point 2 value 98 and point 3 niali 96 then from these results the average value is known, which is 97.66. The results in this master test are known to have 3 values, namely point 1 value 95, point 2 value 96 and point 3 value 95 then from these results the average value is known, which is 95.33.
