Abstract
viii This study aims to determine the personal protective equipment, labor behavior and K3 management towards the safety of loading and unloading workers at the Semarang Container Terminal, which is how the sampling technique used is probability sampling with the sampling type, namely disproportionate stratified random sampling with each division paying attention to the population criteria of the operational workforce working at the Semarang Container Terminal. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 21. The results of this study indicate that the variables of personal protective equipment, worker behavior, and occupational health and safety management influence the safety of loading and unloading workers at the Semarang Container Terminal. The results of multiple linear regression analysis yielded the following equation: Y = 0,116 + 0,334.X1 + 0,157.X2 + 0,359.X3 + µ From the analysis results obtained the multiple linear regression equation above shows that the results of hypothesis testing using the t test indicate that the independent variables, namely Personal Protective Equipment (X1), Worker Behavior (X2) and K3 Management (X3) partially have a positive and significant effect on the safety of loading and unloading workers. This is indicated by the significance value of each variable which is below 0.05. While the Adjusted value (R2) = 0.575 which means that 57.5% of the variation in the dependent variable (Y) namely Loading and Unloading Worker Safety is explained by the independent variables namely Personal Protective Equipment (X1), Worker Behavior (X2) and K3 Management (X3). The remaining 100% - 57.5% = 42.5%, is influenced by other variables outside this study. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that from the multiple linear regression analysis and the distribution of respondents' answers regarding the independent variables (personal protective equipment, workforce behavior and K3 management), they have an influence on the dependent variable (Stacking and Unloading Worker Safety).
