Abstract
Driving safety is a condition where every individual is protected from the risk of accidents while driving, which can be caused by human, vehicle, road, and environmental factors. Ahmad Yani Road is a highway in Waikabubak City that connects Waitabula and Anakalang roads, and its existence facilitates the mobility of Waikabubak City residents. This study aims to determine the need for road markings, traffic signs, and road conditions on driving safety on Ahmad Yani Road in Waikabubak City. The population in this study is vehicle owners or people who pass through Ahmad Yani Road, and the sample used is 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with incidental sampling type. The data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Version 25 software. The regression formulation in this study is: Y = 1.522 + 0.289 X1 + 0.221 X2 + 0.353 X3 + µ. From the equation, it is known that the most dominant variable influencing Driving safety is the Road Marking variable with a regression coefficient of 0,221. The R2 (R squre) test obtained a result of 0,506 or 50.6%,which means that Driving Safety is influenced by the Road Marking,Traffic Signs and Road Conditions variebles,namely 50.6% and other factors that influence Driving Safety on Jalan Ahmad Yani,Waikabubak City,namely 49,4% Keywords: Driving Safety, Road Markings, Traffic Signs, and Road Conditions"
