Abstract
As international trade grows, and the volume of ship traffic increases, efficiency in ship mooring services becomes increasingly crucial. Slow or inefficient processes can result in significant delays which in turn have a negative impact on operational costs and the reputation of shipping companies. Therefore, it is important to evaluate and identify factors that influence shipping efficiency. The aim of this research is to analyze various aspects that influence clearance in and out services on ships including the challenges faced and possible solutions that can be applied. The method used is a qualitative method by collecting data through observation, interviews and literature study. The results of discussing the problem are the use of technology, inter-agency coordination to speed up the clearance process and human resources training for port officers and ship crew to increase efficiency and understanding of ship berthing procedures.
