Abstract
As one of the main entry points for air transportation, General Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang plays a significant role in the distribution of goods and passengers. However, the effectiveness of the security and safety system in the airspace still faces various challenges, especially regarding the role of operational officers, the readiness of facilities, workforce, and the use of safety equipment. This study aims to evaluate the impact of these four factors on occupational security and safety at General Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, literature studies, documentation, and distribution of questionnaires to 81 officers directly involved in apron operations. The analytical method applied was multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 26.0. The analytical technique used was multiple linear regression analysis with the results of the equation: Y = -1,652+ 0,263.X1 + 0,318.X2 + 0,262.X3 +0,288.X4 + µ The t-test results show that all independent variables, namely the Role of Operational Officers (X1), Facility Readiness (X2), Human Resources (X3), and Use of Safety Equipment (X4) have a positive and significant effect on Security and Safety (Y). The Adjusted R Square value of 0.612 indicates that 61.2% of the variation in security and safety can be explained by the four independent variables, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside this research model. These findings provide relevant input for General Ahmad Yani International Airport, Semarang in improving occupational security and safety..
