Abstract
Navigational aids play a crucial role in maritime safety, serving to guide and provide information to vessels during their journeys in waterways. In this context, the use of modern navigation systems such as GPS, radar, and weather monitoring tools has enhanced the accuracy and efficiency of navigation. This study aims to analyze the role of various navigational aids, including ports, lighthouses, and other navigational markers, in reducing the risk of maritime accidents. Employing a qualitative approach and case studies, this research explores how the integration of technology and traditional infrastructure can improve maritime safety. Results indicate that enhancing infrastructure and providing training for crew members in the use of navigational aids can significantly reduce maritime incidents. This conclusion underscores the importance of ongoing investment in navigational aids to support better maritime safety worldwide.. Keywords: Tool, aids, navigation, maritime, safety
