Abstract
Passengers is a crucial indicator in evaluating the effectiveness of air transportation services at an airport. This study aims to determine the effect of price perception (X1), corporate image (X2), promotion (X3), and service quality (X4) on the number of passengers (Y) at Yogyakarta International Airport. This research adopts a quantitative approach. The population in this study comprises airline passengers at Yogyakarta International Airport, with a total sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique employed is non-probability sampling using a quota sampling approach. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 27. Based on the results of data processing statistical analysis, the regression equation obtained is as follows: Y = 2.382 + 0.272X1 + 0.310X2 + 0.187X3 + 0.248X4 + μ The results of the t-test indicate that all four independent variables—price perception (X1), corporate image (X2), promotion (X3), and service quality (X4)— have a positive and statistically significant influence on the dependent variable, namely the number of passengers (Y). The adjusted coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) is 0.614, indicating that 61.4% of the variation in passenger numbers can be explained by the four independent variables in this model. The findings of this study demonstrate that the increase in passenger numbers at Yogyakarta International Airport is significantly influenced by competitive price perception, a strong corporate image, well-targeted promotions, and high-quality service delivery.
