Abstract
Indonesia as an archipelagic country has great potential in the maritime and marine sector, especially in fisheries management. One important aspect is the distribution of marine catches, especially fish, which must be carried out efficiently without sacrificing quality until it reaches consumers. This paper observes the logistics management process of fish shipments to PT. Soyo Aji Perkasa's cold storage. The purpose of this observation is to understand the logistics management process, identify shipping obstacles, determine the equipment used, and analyze the impact and efforts to overcome delays in fish shipments efficiently while maintaining fish quality. The methods used are qualitative methods by conducting observations, documentation, and interviews with field officers and agency staff. The results of this observation indicate that the logistics management process covers steps from catching to final distribution with a focus on quality, internal and external obstacles can affect quality and smooth distribution, shipping equipment plays an important role in maintaining temperature and efficiency, and delays in shipments can reduce fish quality, so efforts are needed to minimize these risks.
