Abstract
PT. Sarana Bandar Nasional Tanjung Pinang is one of the companies engaged in logistics and loading and unloading to meet the needs in the logistics sector under the auspices of PT. Pelni (Persero) but there are still several obstacles that hinder the loading and unloading activities carried out, therefore in this study optimization was carried out in order to be able to follow up on every obstacle that occurs and to find out what efforts can be made to overcome these obstacles so that it can increase work productivity carried out by PT. Sarana Bandar Nasional Tanjung Pinang Branch. This study was conducted using a data collection method by visiting the research location, conducting observations, collecting data, interviews related to the focus of the research, documentation at the research location, the data obtained was analyzed using qualitative methods so that it was able to provide a clear picture of the optimization process of loading and unloading activities. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that in the efforts to optimize loading and unloading carried out by PT. The Tanjung Pinang Branch National Port Facility in increasing work productivity still has obstacles that often occur, so in carrying out this optimization, it is hoped that it can avoid things that become obstacles in carrying out the loading and unloading process by improving human resources, and also always checking the equipment both after and before use and implementing good work procedures that have been approved by the company.
