Abstract
Kartini Port as one of the ferry ports with the Jepara-Karimunjawa route with sea transportation. In every ferry activity there is an embarkation activity which means the process of passengers entering the ship at the port and disembarkation means the process of passengers getting off the ship at the port. The role of the Class II Jepara Port Organizing Unit Office in implementing the arrangement, control and supervision of activities at Kartini Port in embarkation and disembarkation activities. The method used is observation which is carried out through observation accompanied by various records, as well as interview methods through questions and answers. So that it finds problems that arise in embarkation and disembarkation activities that have an impact on delays in ship departures. So that order is carried out by the ship and port to organize passengers so that embarkation and disembarkation do not result in delays in the ship's departure schedule .
