Abstract
The main topic of discussion in writing this paper is about Ship Arrival and Departure Services by PT. Samudera Makmur Agency in Order to Support the Smoothness of Sea Transportation at Cilacap Port. There are several background problems that the author solves, namely how the Clearance In and Out process and the obstacles faced by PT. Samudera Makmur Agency in Clearance In and Out activities. PT. Samudera Makmur Agency is a shipping agency company that was established with the aim of serving the increasing demand for a shipping agency company that can be trusted and relied on. PT. Samudera Makmur Agency is an agency company that focuses on customer orientation. The purpose of writing this paper is none other than to find out how the Clearance In and Out process is and to find out the documents, agencies and obstacles faced by PT. Samudera Makmur Agency. Based on data collection carried out during the Land Practice (Prada), the author uses several methods, namely, observation, interviews, and document studies and literature studies. The results of the discussion of this paper are that Clearance In and Out activities can run smoothly if the network is adequate so that the effectiveness and efficiency of agent time in Clearance In and Out activities can be met and can run smoothly, each party can fulfill the established work procedures.
