Abstract

The increase in the flow of goods entering the port area of the Indonesian state, will automatically increase the number of ships operating at the port of the Indonesian state. From this there is a negative side because not all shipping companies have branches in each of Indonesia's shipping areas. Limited human resources, time, loading and unloading implementation, related agencies, and processing of clearance in and clearance out ship documents at each Indonesian port. Shipping company agents have duties and responsibilities to provide services to ship needs and prepare documents, therefore company agents must have good relations with relevant agencies. In its daily activities, PT. Kharisma Indah Lestari has good service so that service users are satisfied and do not switch to other companies. There is a need for the addition of new Human Resources (HR) in the operational section so that the ship's agency handling works effectively and efficiently Keywords : Shipping Company, Agents, Clerance In and Clerance Out
