Abstract

Indonesia is a maritime country consisting of thousands of islands stretching from Sabang to Merauke and has a variety of natural, marine and mining products that are very potential to be developed for exploration for the welfare of the nation. Especially the Port is a place for economic and government activities in providing services. Ship performance problems are often related to obstacles that arise while the ship is in port and the service process involving ship agents. This study aims to analyze the factors that hinder the arrival of domestic shipping vessels on the performance of agency companies. The population in this study were employees of PT. Panca Global Energi Jakarta with a research sample of 60 respondents. The sampling technique used was Nonprobability sampling with a sampling type of Census/total sampling. The analysis method used was descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (Software) Statistic Package For Social Science (SPSS). The results of this study indicate that the variables of pilot services, loading and unloading productivity and document management have a partial effect on operational performance. The results of multiple regression analysis obtained the equation Y = 0.674 + 0.365.X1 + 0.360.X2 + 0.183.X3 + μ where all variables studied showed a positive and significant influence on operational performance. From the regression equation it can also be seen that the most dominant variable influencing operational performance is the guide service variable with a regression coefficient of 0.365. And the coefficient of determination value (Adjusted R Square = 0.593) is 59.3%. The coefficient of determination value is 59.3% while the rest (100% - 59.3% = 40.7%) is influenced by other variables outside the research or the regression equation capital. Conclusion based on the results of research and data processing obtained and the distribution of coesioner data regarding variables obtained with positive and significant effects by using the SPSS program. Keywords:Guide Service, Loading and Unloading Productivity, Document Management, Operational Performance.
