Abstract
PT. Meridian Agen Indonesia is a shipping company engaged in agency services or ship document management (shifting) by implementing electronic internet-based services "Inaportnet". This study aims to analyze the application of inapornet in ship agency services at PT. Meridian Agen Indonesia and identify the obstacles that hinder the Inapornet system. In the implementation of agency services in this company, problems such as the inaportnet system were found. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data that has been studied through observation, interviews, and documentation in order to identify the main problems that hinder the ongoing process of ship agency services. Primary data from this study came from interviews and observations at PT. Meridian agen indonesia. The results of this study indicate that ship agency service activities experience several obstacles, namely the lack of readiness of human resources in operating the inaportnet system and negligence in updating the inaportnet system. To overcome these obstacles, this study suggests adding operational staff who are more skilled in using the inaportnet system and prioritizing infrastructure suggestions to support the smooth running of the agency's operational process. By overcoming these obstacles, it is expected that the ship agency service process can run quickly and smoothly. Keywords: ,inaportnet agency, shifting
