Abstract
The duties and responsibilities of the KSOP class IV Probolinggo are very important in keeping the safety and security of cruise in the port area. As an institution that has authority in the field of supervision and regulation of cruise activities, the KSOP class IV Probolinggo is responsible for ensuring that port and shipping operations in the area meet established safety standards. Law enforcement in this area includes supervision of ship sailing, inspection of cruise documents, as well as implementation of regulations related to ship safety and environmental protection. This task also involves coordination with related agencies to overcome potential risks of cruise accidents. Method this Paper aims to analyze the roles and responsibilities of the Harbor Master's office and Class IV Probolinggo port authority in enforcing laws in the field of cruise safety and security, as well as the challenges faced in efforts to ensure smooth and orderly cruise in the region. Result the main task of the Harbormaster's Office and the Probolinggo Authority is to ensure that all relevant safety regulations and standards are followed by ships, cargo and Port personnel. And also the Port in Probolinggo has a Port Business Entity (BUP), namely PT DELTA ARTHA BAHARI NUSANTARA (DABN) which is tasked with managing all services at the Port, such as dock services for refueling, clean water services, vehicle boarding and descending facilities, dock services for carrying out loading and unloading activities and so on.
