Abstract
Maritime services have a very important role in supporting the smooth running of maritime transportation activities, which include various aspects such as port management, goods delivery and ship navigation. This research aims to explore various factors that influence the quality of maritime services and their impact on sea transportation service users. Good service not only ensures the efficiency of the loading and unloading process, but also maintains the safety of the ship and crew as well as overall smooth logistics. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and secondary data analysis, with a focus on the factors that influence the smooth running of maritime services, the steps used to ensure the smooth running of maritime service activities and the impacts obtained by maritime service users. The research results show that improving port infrastructure. The research results show that optimal maritime services, such as routine ship maintenance, adequate port facilities, and good coordination between related institutions, greatly influence the smooth operation of ships. Therefore, improving the quality of maritime services is an important key in supporting smooth operations and reducing the risk of delays or damage to ships.
