Abstract
Unpredicable nature often become human barriers to endure a situation. Various life-threating emergency could occur anytime, anywhere. So, to maximize the existing equipment/sources is very important. The purpose of this study is to know about procedures and mechanism for surviving at sea for sailor. The data collecting method used were method of data collection either by observation in the office of BASARNAS Bandung. The result of this study is that using procedures and mechanism on surviving at sea help prevent the lost of life and increase the chance to survive.
