Abstract
Punctuality of ship arrivals is a critical indicator of port service efficiency. This study aims to examine the influence of crew competence, pilotage services, document completeness, and weather anticipation on the punctuality of domestic ship arrivals of Benoa Port on PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Sub Regional Bali Nusa Tenggara. The research applies a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 60 respondents selected through saturation sampling. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 27. Based on the analysis results, the regression equation is: Y = 0.985 + 0.422X₁ + 0.191X₂ + 0.203X₃ + 0.251X₄ + µ The results indicate that the variables of crew competence (X₁), pilotage services (X₂), document completeness (X₃), and weather anticipation (X₄) have a positive influence on ship arrival punctuality, with respective regression coefficients of 0.422, 0.191, 0.203, and 0.251. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.649, suggesting that 64.9% of the variation in ship arrival punctuality is explained by these four variables. The t-test results show that all independent variables significantly affect the dependent variable (t count > t table). Therefore, it can be concluded that improvements in crew competence, pilotage services, document handling, and weather anticipation significantly contribute to enhancing the punctuality of ship arrivals at the port.
