Abstract

Ship agency services play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of ships at the port. The object of this observation aims to analyze the role of PT. Transmaritim Agensi in supporting the services of the MV. Apollon Trader ship, including the administrative process, completeness of documents, and challenges faced in agency services. Using observation, interview, and documentation study methods, this study revealed that the use of the Inaportnet system increases the efficiency of the ship licensing and administration process. However, several obstacles such as network disruptions, administrative delays, and illegal levies are still challenges in agency operations. To overcome these obstacles, it is necessary to improve technological infrastructure, better communication between related parties, and the implementation of transparency in service procedures. The results of this observation object are expected to contribute to the maritime industry in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of ship agency services.
