Abstract
This paper is conducted to answer questions related to the process of ship agency services from the time the ship arrives at the port until it departs for the destination port, as well as the Single Submission (SSm) system process, procedures that must be carried out, and costs arising from ship operations at the port. This paper uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data analyzed are the results of interviews with shipping companies, direct observations and what regulations are in the shipping sector. This paper focuses on the implementation of agency services at PT. Maf Eza Samudra in supporting ship services. The purpose of this study is to determine the activities of ship agencies, how the process of filling in document data in the system and how the system works, combining theories obtained from college with practice in the field and what needs to be done in implementing ship agency services. The results of the study indicate that coordination, communication and cooperation between shipping agents and related agencies must be well established. The process of implementing ship Clearance-in/out must be in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations.
