Abstract

As an archipelagic country, Indonesia heavily relies on ports as logistical distribution hubs. PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Tanjungpandan is a strategic port that supports trade activities. However, the port still faces challenges such as a lack of labor, limited equipment, and suboptimal operational performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of supervision, stevedoring labor, equipment capacity, and operational performance on the performance of loading and unloading activities at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Tanjungpandan. Data were collected through observation, interviews, literature review, documentation, and questionnaires distributed to respondents directly involved in port operations. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with the resulting equation : Y = 1,197 + 0,203X1 + 0,302X2 + 0,218X3 + 0,218X4+ μ The t-test results indicate that all independent variables Supervision (X1), Loading and Unloading Labor (X2), Equipment Capacity (X3), and Operational Performance (X4) have a positive and significant effect on the Loading and Unloading Performance (Y). The Adjusted R Square value of 0,575 indicates that 57,5% of the variation in loading and unloading performance can be explained by the four independent variables, while the remaining 42,5% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. These findings provide relevant input for port management to improve the productivity and efficiency of loading and unloading operations. Keywords : Supervision, Loading and Unloading Labor, Equipment Capacity, Operational Performance, Loading and Unloading Performance
