Abstract

Along with the development of the times today are growing, community needs even transport also increased. It is characterized by the increasing number of vehicles each day. Problems facing right now is the lack of safety awareness drive resulting in high rates of traffic accidents. There are many factors that affect driving safety as related to environmental factors, weather, driver behavior, road conditions, vehicle conditions, obedience to traffic signs. This research study analyzed four variables namely the rider behavior, road conditions, vehicle conditions, obedience to traffic signs as an independent variable and driving safety as the dependent variable. The formulation of this problem, research objectives and hypothesis in this study is to analyze whether a positive influence, both individually and simultaneously between the independent variables are the rider's behavior, road conditions, vehicle conditions and compliance will be a traffic sign on the dependent variable, namely safety driving. In this study, the object is taken motorbike rider on the street Gajah Mada Wirosari-Grobogan. Data sources include primary data and secondary data. Samples in this study was 100 respondents. Technical analysis of the data is a multiple linear regression technique. Based on the results of research and analysis produced multiple equation: Y = 2.568 + 0.268 X1 + 0.226 X2 + 0.216 + 0.148 X3 X4 + μ. The results of multiple regression study shows that there is a positive influence in partial behavior of motorists against driving safety (thitung 3,229> ttabel 1.9853), the condition of the road safety driving (thitung 2.624 > ttabel 1.9853), the condition of the vehicle to safety drive (thitung 3,037 > ttabel 1.9853), obedience to traffic signs on road safety (thitung 2.139> ttabel 1.9853). As for the feasibility test model (Fhitung 26.528> Ftabel 2.46). Simultaneously variable rider behavior, road conditions, vehicle conditions and compliance with traffic signs will affect 50.8% against and 49.2% of road safety is affected by the variables that are not detected or outside the study variables. Keywords: Safety driving, driving behavior, road conditions, vehicle conditions and compliance of traffic signs.
