Abstract

The speed of loading and unloading containers is one of the problems that always gets serious attention in every container port country, it can be used to determine the level of port service to port users (ships and goods), which depends on the service time of the ship while in port. High port performance indicates that the port can provide good service. Sea transportation is the main transportation in the trade sector. Nearly 90% of foreign trade activities are carried out by sea. The transportation of goods by sea is very efficient because of the large carrying capacity so that the port as a place where ships can load and unload goods is very important with the support of adequate facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to determine the analysis of the factors that affect the Digital Port Transformation, Sea Tides, Sedimentation of Shipping Channels on Container Loading and Unloading Speeds. This research was conducted at the Port of PT. IPC Container Terminal Pontianak Area as a sample. Data was collected through observation, literature study, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS V.25 program. Based on the results of research and multiple analysis, the following equations are generated: Y = 0.589 + 0,255 X1 + 0,259 X2 -0,412 X3 + µ Where the variables of loading and unloading speed of containers (Y), Digital Port Transformation (X1), Sea Tides (X2), and Shipping Channel Sedimentation (X3) were tested using the t test, showing that the three independent variables partially have a significant effect on speed. loading and unloading of containers as the dependent variable. The Adjusted R Square figure of 0.665 indicates that 58.7 percent of the container loading and unloading speed variable can be explained through the three independent variables in the regression equation. While the remaining 41.3 percent is explained by other variables outside the three variables used in this study. Keywords : Digital Port Transformation, Tidal Sea Water, Shipping Channel Sedimentation and Container Loading and Unloading Speed
