Abstract
Marine pollution is something that must be considered in order to maintain the cleanliness of the sea in the waters of Tanjung Priok. KN Trisula P.111 is one of the ships owned by KPLP (Sea and Coast Guard Unit) which plays an important role in efforts to implement pollution control in the waters of KSOP (Port Authority and Harbor Master Office) Class I Tanjung Priok Jakarta. KN Trisula P.111 carries out its role and function in accordance with the Law. The ship with white, red and blue livery has a role for SAR missions, oil spill recovery, fire fighting, and disaster command and coordination. This study aims to analyze and determine the role of the State Ship Trisula P.111 in the waters of KSOP Class I Tanjung Priok. The research method used is a qualitative method, research that uses a philosophical basis to examine scientific conditions (experiments) with researchers as the main instrument. The results of the study show that KN Trisula P.111 in carrying out its role in the waters of KSOP Class I Tanjung Priok, namely the implementation of Marpolex (Marine Pollution Exercise), Oil Recovery mission (oil spill response), SAR (Search and Rescue) mission. The factors causing pollution in the waters of Tanjung Priok are oil spills, garbage from ships (garbage), human waste (sewage). The efforts of the KN Trisula crew in overcoming the factors causing pollution are the oil recovery mission, checking the garbage record book of each ship, ensuring that ships that sail have a sewage treatment plant. KN Trisula P.111 in overcoming the factors causing marine pollution in the waters of KSOP Class I Tanjung Priok, such as providing socialization regarding pollution caused by oil spills, garbage from ships (garbage), human waste (sewage) and so on that can pollute the waters.
