Abstract
Import play an important role in international trade by involving the shipment of goods from the country of origin to the country of destination. It involves trading or shipping goods to a country based on an agreement between an exporter and importer. Qualitative data, which includes words, diagrams, and images, cannot be measured in specific units and is often obtained through activities such as interviews, observations, and discussions. PT Esa Zona Express has managed import handling effectively, overcoming problems that arose during the process. Adequate document preparation prior to ship arrival is essential. The various parties involved in the import document handling process must coordinate effectively to facilitate document processing and avoid unwanted errors. Despite the obstacles, officers managed to overcome them to ensure the satisfaction of service users and consignees. Nevertheless, challenges such as system disruptions still exist in the handling of bulk dry cargo import documents, but PT Esa Zona Express has been able to overcome these problems efficiently. Coordination between all relevant parties is essential to smoothen the document process and prevent unwanted errors. Keywords: Handling, Import, Documents
