Abstract
Effectiveness of the Bunker Fuel Filling Process on the Transcoal Pacific 208 Tugboat. Current technological developments touch almost all aspects of human life. This adds to the increasingly tight competition in life, so it is required to produce good results. Likewise in the world of shipping which operates in the field of sea transportation services. Bunkering is an activity on ships and ports, this bunker activity aims to refuel the ship. Of course, ship operations do not involve bunkering before the ship sails and operates. There are several procedures for refueling that are good and correct and do not endanger the ship's crew or the port. Of course, they must pay attention to how to refuel the bunker effectively to avoid oil spills and violates shipping law, namely Marpol Annex I which explains murine pollution in various aspects, to create the effectiveness of fuel bunkers on ships, of course effective things need to be considered so that fatal incidents do not occur which tend to endanger the ship's crew, completeness and readiness in carrying out the process Refilling bunker fuel on a ship requires regulations regarding the Shipboard Oil Pollution Emergency Plan (SOPEP). The role of the effectiveness of the fuel bunkering process cannot be ignored because the role of the fuel bunkering process on board the ship is very important to support perfect results. A good and optimal bunkering process can reduce obstacles and dangers on board the ship. Relates to the readiness of the bunker process which is very important for effective results.
