Abstract
Traffic accident is the main cause of death with various for, every year as many as 1.24 million people equivalent to 3.397 people every day. Traffic accident in this world or in indonesia has had entered the stage apprehensive by the world health organisation (WHO). This study attempts to know whether behavior the rider, the vihicle of condition and road conditions impact on traffic accident . To research this objects taken are along roads walisongo semarang . A source of the data that is primary and secondary data Research sample areas as many as 100 respondents and techniques used is a technique puposive accidental sampling with incidental sampling. The method of analysis that used is the quantitative analysis that is analysis of multiple regression includes: test validity and reliability, test the assumption classical, the testing of hypotheses with this t, and analysis the coefficients determination (R2). Based on this analysis, obtained the regression equation is in the bellow : Y = 3,092 + 0,433 X1 + 0,199 X2 + 0,194 X3 +µ Coefficientsi correlation in research is 0,735 where the value of that side of the relation between variables free variable bound is of 73,5 %. The testing of hypotheses use test t show that all three variable free that in behavior riders (X1), condition of the road (X2) and road conditions (X3) subjects proven have had a positive impact and significant to affect variable bound namely traffic accident . In test the coefficients determination (R Square) the value adjusted R Square of 0,525 it means 52.5 % variation variable bound traffic accident can be explained by variable free behavior the rider, condition of the road and road conditions.
