Abstract

The management of equipment performance at the Semarang Container Terminal Warehouse plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of stripping activities for Less Container Load (LCL) imported goods. The forklift is one of the main tools used in the stripping activities of Less Container Load (LCL) imported goods at the Semarang Container Terminal Warehouse. This study aims to (1) determine the average availability ratio in forklift performance during stripping activities at the Semarang Container Terminal Warehouse, (2) determine the average performance ratio in forklift performance during stripping activities at the Semarang Container Terminal Warehouse, (3) determine the average quality ratio in forklift performance during stripping activities at the Semarang Container Terminal Warehouse, and (4) determine the average Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) at the Semarang Container Terminal Warehouse. The method used is the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method, with the following calculation steps: (1) calculation of forklift downtime data, (2) calculation of the availability ratio, (3) calculation of the performance ratio, (4) calculation of the quality ratio, and (5) calculation of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness index. The average availability ratio is -0,1616666% with the JIPM standard being >90%, indicating low forklift availability. This is because, in June, the forklift experienced an MPU board failure, requiring 720 hours of repair for waiting for the FET FM module and board components, and in July, the forklift experienced engine damage, requiring 744 hours of repair. The average performance ratio is 106.7925%, with the JIPM standard being >95%, indicating good forklift capability. The average quality ratio is 100%, with the JIPM standard being >99%, indicating good quality in goods handling. The Overall Equipment Effectiveness index is 9.99483%, where production is considered to have a low value, so it is recommended to optimize the maintenance process.
