Abstract

This study focuses on the analysis of the loading and unloading performance of general cargo as part of the loading and unloading process at Tanjung Emas Port Semarang. As a large port that serves transportation, containers, and dry bulk. The use of general cargo not only allows the consolidation of goods, but also increases efficiency. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research that describes variables as they are supported by data in the form of numbers obtained from real situations. The research findings, among others, are the General Cargo Loading and Unloading Performance at Tanjung Emas Port Semarang 2023 every month has increased and decreased in the average value of T/G/H. The highest average T/G/H value occurred in February at 159.43 Tons/Gang/Hour, and the lowest value occurred in July at 76.72 Tons/Gang/Hour, as well as General Cargo Loading and Unloading Performance at Tanjung Emas Port Semarang in 2023 The highest average T/S/H value occurred in February at 159.43 Tons/Gang/Hour and the lowest value occurred in July at 59 Tons/Gang/Hour, which means that the loading and unloading performance of general cargo at Tanjung Emas Port Semarang has met the value standards that have been determined by the Director General of Sea Transportation Number: UM.002/38/18/DJPL Year 2011 amounting to 100.
