Abstract

orrosion is also a source of the biggest damage that occurs to ships because it results in fatigue life and reduced ship speed. The method used in this observation is the method of observation (observation). In addition to using this method the author also uses the interview method (interview). From the results of observations made by the author, it was found that PT.Dok Lamongan had carried out maintenance and to find out how problems, maintenance and repairs were. As well as knowing about the factors that cause corrosion on the ship's hull. So that the hull is protected from corrosion. From the results of the paper based on the observations I made. That by carrying out maintenance and use of zinc anode in accordance with procedures to overcome corrosion. And also aims to avoid damage to the ship's hull.
