Abstract
A traffic accident is an incident in which a motor vehicle collides with another object and causes damage. Sometimes these accidents can result in injuries and even death. Factors causing traffic accidents that most often occur are due to road defects, human error is also often associated with these conditions where the behavior of the owner or user of the vehicle in driving or maintaining the vehicle. In addition, it is also caused by the condition of the vehicle driven by the driver which also affects the incidence of motorcycle accidents operated on the road, especially on the solo sragen karanganyar route. The purpose of this research is to examine the risk factors that cause accidents in the solo sragen karanganyar area and analyze the risk factors for the high number of accidents in the area by using descriptive analysis research methods. The population in this study were motorbike riders who passed the Lawu-Karanganyar road and the sample used in this study was 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, incidental sampling type, then the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 26. The regression formulation in this research is as follows: Y= 0,733 + 0,333 X1 + 0,203 X2 + 0,385 X3 + µ From this equation it is known that the most dominant variable influencing Passenger Safety is the vehicle condition variable with a regression coefficient of 0.385, then in second place is the road condition variable with a regression coefficient of 0.333 and the last is the human error variable with a regression coefficient of 0.203. For the Hypothesis Test, each tcount is greater than ttable 1.98447, and the significant value of each independent variable is less than 0.05. The R2 test (R square) obtained a result of 0.561 or 56.1%, which means that traffic accidents are influenced by road condition variables, human error and vehicle condition, namely 56.1% and other factors that affect traffic accidents, namely 43.9%. . The rest is influenced by other variables not examined, for example understanding of traffic, traffic safety and so on. Keywords: Traffic Accidents, Road Conditions, Human Error and Vehicle Conditions
