Abstract

Ship waiting time is one issue that is always getting serious attention in every country. Marine transportation became the main mode of transportation in trade. Nearly 90% of foreign trade is done by sea. Freight carried by sea to be very efficient due to higher passenger capacity and thus the role of the port as a place where ships can load and unload goods or ascending lower passenger becomes very important in the use of facilities and infrastructure are adequate. If the port is less than optimal performance it will have a direct impact on the services that will cause new problems, namely the higher the ship waiting time, so it will lead to high costs, which have a direct impact to the price of goods on the market. The purpose of this research is to analyze influence between variables independent namely pilotage , loading and unloading and productivity scheduling on variables dependent that is waiting time a ship. To research this object trophy is vessel sandar in the tanjung gold semarang. Samples to this research is 80 respondents with techniques used is a technique non-probability sampling that is by using incidental sampling, that is a technique the sample collection based on chance or any of those who by chance meet researchers can be used as sample. Model his research is regression analysis linear multiple .Based on the research done and analysis linear multiple produced equation: Y = 1,474 - 0,234 X1 - 0,592 X2 - 0,206 X3 - μ The results of the regression equation is linear multiple shows that there are positive influence in partial between pilotage respect to time wait a vessel (thitung 2,836 > ttabel 1,9916) , loading and unloading productivity against time wait a vessel (thitung 7,937 > ttabel 1,9916) and scheduling respect to time wait a vessel (thitung 2,418 > ttabel 1,9916). The influence of three variables research is obtained by correlation value adjusted R2 = 0,601. Simultaneously variable pilotage, loading and unloading and productivity scheduling influential 60,1 % of waiting time ships and 39,9 % influenced by variable research not to be researched in this study.
