Abstract
Transportation is the movement of people, goods and information from one place to another safely, comfortably, quickly, cheaply and in accordance with the environment to meet human needs. This research aims to determine the influence of legality, infrastructure and facilities on the safety of goods transport cars on Jalan Pantura, Rembang Regency. The population in this study were freight car drivers who passed Jalan Pantura Rembang-Tuban and the sample used in this study was 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, random sampling type, then the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 25. The regression formulation in this research is as follows: Y = -0.111 + 0.332X1 + 0.403X2 + 0.245X3 + µ From this equation it is known that the most dominant variable influencing the safety of goods transport cars is the infrastructure variable with a regression coefficient of 0.403. The R2 (R Square) test obtained a result of 0.531% or 53.1%, which means that the safety of goods transport cars is influenced by legality variables, infrastructure and facilities amounting to 53.1% and other factors that influence the safety of goods transport cars on Jalan Pantura, Rembang Regency. namely 46.9%.
