Abstract
Aviation safety is a condition where safety requirements are fulfilled in the use of airspace, aircraft, airports, air transportation, flight navigation and other supporting facilities and public facilities. As an airport that is also of international standard, General Ahmad Yani International Airport, Semarang, must pay attentionto security and safety which has a very important and strategic role in flight operations, so that the administration and development can run properly. In this study, aviation safety is influenced by several factors including safety culture factors, flight traffic guidance and safety mangement system. These three factors have an important role in improving flight safety. The population in this study were employees at PT. Angkasa Pura 1 Semarang and Airnav Semarang witha research sample of 82 respondents, the variables in the study consisted of: safety culture independent variables (X.1), flight traffic guidance (X.2) and Safety Management system (X.3) as well as variables bound, namely aviation safety (Y). The data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the helpof (software) Statistic Packa ge For Social Science (SPSS) version 25. The results of the research by testing the t-test hypothesis partially show that safety culture, safety culture and flight traffic guidance have a positive and significant effect on flight safety. Based on the research results it can be seen that the research model of the multiple linear regression equation is: Y = 1.804 + 0.305.X1 + 0.335.X2 + 0.230.X3 + µ. From the regression equation, it can be seen that the variable that has the most dominant influence on aviation safety is the safety management system variable with a regression coefficient of 0.230. And the R2 (R Square) test resulted in a resultof 0.522 or 52.2%, which means that flight safety at General Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang is influenced by safety culture variables, flight traffic guidance and safety management system, namely 52.2% and Other factors that affect flight safety at General Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang are 52.2% or 0.522 Keywords : Safety Culture, Flight Traffic Guide and Aviation, and safety management system
