Abstract
Indonesia has established several shipbuilding companies engaged in shipping, one of which is PT Janata Marina Indah Semarang which focuses on the production and repair of ships located in Semarang. PT. Janata Marina Indah, was established in 1977 and is actively accepting orders for the construction of new buildings of all kinds of ships. The results of the calculation of the length of the comparison of the delay time for the repair of passenger ships are known to be the highest average delay in KM. Dharma Rucitra 1 is a general service job with a score of 0.44 day. The highest average value work on KM ships. Madani Nusantara is a general service job with a score of 7.33 day and a sea trial with a score of 7 day. The House of Risk (HOR) method is one of the solutions to overcome delays in ship repairs, this method has the purpose of identifying and assessing the risks that exist in ship repair activities. The results of the HOR calculation have obtained a rating of agents/risk causes sorted based on the highest value. The main reason is that there is no policy that expressly regulates the provisions of additional works with an Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) value of 300, the existence of additional material orders for additional works outside the list of repairs with an Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) value of 288, many work tools require rejuvenation with an Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) value of 145. The results of the identification and assessment of risk events and risk agents using the HOR method of risk mitigation efforts that can be applied to mitigate these risks are three, namely, an in-depth evaluation of the type and amount of additional materials needed for additional work, with a Total Effectiveness of Mitigation with Difficulty (ETDk) value of 1,746, providing a maximum deadline for the receipt of additional works outside the repair list with the approval of the relevant parties, with a Total Effectiveness of Mitigation with Difficulty (ETDk) value of 1,494 and checking that the materials needed for additional work are available in sufficient quantities and in accordance with demand, with a Total Mitigation Effectiveness with Difficulty (ETDk) value of 1,446.
