Abstract
Road performance is a quantitative measurement that describes the specific condition of a road segment. Generally, road performance is evaluated based on capacity, degree of saturation (DS), average speed, travel time, delay, and queues through a study of road performance. The qualitative measure describing the operational condition of traffic flow and driver perception of driving quality is represented by the level of service of the road segment. On-street parking refers to parking that occurs along the road, with or without road widening for parking spaces. Commercial activities involve the exchange or sale of goods and services for profit through trade and all its supporting activities such as transportation, communication, banking, and so forth. Road geometry is one of the main characteristics of a road that affects its capacity and performance when subjected to traffic load. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, the equation is: Y = 1,376 + 0,299 X1 + 0,320 X2 + 0,280 X3 + μ This indicates that, according to empirical data (from questionnaire responses) and multiple linear regression results, the On-Street Parking variable (X1) has a t-value of 3.571 > t-table 1.98472, thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The Commercial Activity variable (X2) has a t-value of 4.275 > t-table 1.98472, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The Road Geometry variable (X3) has a t-value of 4.506 > t-table 1.98472, thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, the study results show a positive and significant effect of On-Street Parking, Commercial Activity, and Road Geometry on Road Performance.
