Abstract
The aim of this research is to examine the influence of private vehicle risks, costs incurred and traffic jams on interest in using the Trans Kediri bus. This research uses quantitative methods, the population in this research is Trans Kediri Bus users with a sample of 100 respondents. Meanwhile, data collection methods are observation, literature study, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear analysis methods. The presence of this service was created to make it easier for people to move places at affordable prices. This research uses quantitative research methods using a sample of 100 respondents who use Trans City Kediri Bus services. Data collection was carried out using observation methods, literature studies, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is a multiple linear regression technique which is first tested through a questionnaire test (validity and reliability) and classical assumption tests (autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, normality). The results of the analysis using the statistical tools of the SPSS V.26 program obtained a multiple linear regression equation: Y=-1.097 + 0,424.X1 + 0,324.X2 + 0,276.X3 + µ From the multiple linear regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable influencing interest in using the Trans Kediri bus is the private vehicle risk variable with a regression coefficient of 0.424. With the coefficient of determination (Adjust R square), the results obtained are 81%, which means that the risk of private vehicles, costs incurred and traffic jams is 81%% and other factors that influence interest in using the Trans Kediri bus are 19%. Thus, the research results show that the risk of private vehicles, costs incurred, traffic jams have a positive and significant effect on interest in using the Trans Kediri bus.
