Abstract
Transportation been to shift people from a place to another by or no use facilities. With the advent of the age characterized by population growth, and the technology advanced caused transportation was also developing because the needs of each person or individual. Adding to the amount of transportation is features of a developing country. Every developing countries have a problem that is traffic jam. In Indonesia is developing countries and there escaped traffic jam. The formulation of problem, research objectives and hypotheses to research this is to analyze is there a positive influence whether partial or individuals and simultaneously between variables independent namely economic growth, volume traffic, roads, factor nature against dependent variable namely traffic jam. In this study, an object trophy is the rider four-wheeled vehicles (private cars) that is and passing trought the Kaligawe the city of Semarang. Samples to this research is 100 respondents. Technique analizing of is a technique linear regression multiple. Based on the research done and analysis multiple produced equation: Y = -1,376 + 0,210.X1 + 0,232.X2 + 0,164.X3 + 0,286.X4 + µ The result of the regression equation is linear multiple showed that is the in persial a positive and welfare between economic growth to traffic jam that is, t count (2,417) > t table (1,9853), and between the volume of vehicles to traffic jam that is, t count (2,770) > t table (1,9853) , and between roads to traffic jam that is, t count (2,326) > t table (1,9853), and between factors nature against traffic jam that is, t count (3, 511) > t table (1,9853). With the influence significant in persial it means the better economic growth, the volume of vehicles, roads, natural factors so will increase traffic jam.
