Abstract

The main discussion in writing this paper is about the handling of coconut product exports by freight forwarding PT. Agung Samudera Banyuwangi Branch. Its derivative product is copra. Copra is the name for dried coconut flesh. After drying, copra can be produced and then processed into coconut oil. There are several background problems that the author must solve, namely the flow and procedures, what documents, related parties, and obstacles encountered when handling the export. PT. Agung Samudera Banyuwangi Branch is a Freight Forwarding company engaged in export and import document management services. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out how the flow and procedures for handling exports, documents, related parties, and obstacles encountered when handling at PT. Agung Samudera Banyuwangi Branch. In collecting data that was carried out during land practice (Prada), the authors used methods namely, interviews, observations, surveys and document analysis as well as sources and types of data. The result of the discussion of this paper is the handling of coconut product exports by freight forwarding PT. Agung Samudera Banyuwangi Branch will run smoothly from obstacles if both external and internal parties in document processing meet the requirements and the facilities required in it are more adequate.
