Abstract
Sea transportation companies operating in the shipping sector that provide passenger ship operating services have ships operating in the Tanjung Emas Port area, Semarang, one of which is KM. Dharma Kartika VII belongs to PT DLU and KM. Lawit belongs to PT PELNI. This research aims to carry out an in-depth analysis of the influence of differences in passenger fares, differences in operational costs and differences in shipping time on the operational profit margins of KM Dharma Kartika VII and KM. Lawit with route from Semarang to Pontianak. The study was carried out to determine the number of arrivals of KM passenger ships. Dharma Kartika VII and KM. Lawit which docks at the Tanjung Emas port in Semarang, the difference in passenger fares for the two ships, the difference in operational costs and the difference in the length of the ship's voyage. The calculations used to determine the passenger fare difference calculation resulted in a passenger fare difference of Rp. 103,500.00, and the calculation of the difference in operational costs uses the deduction between KM operational costs. Dharma Kartika VII with KM. Lawit obtained a total calculation result of Rp. 310,725,000.00 from 5 trips from each ship and to calculate the time difference, it is obtained by subtracting the KM sailing time. Dharma Kartika VII with KM. Lawit obtained results of 11 hours from the average length of sailing time for 5 trips. With the results of these calculations, it is known that the factors that have a big influence on maritime shipping service companies are the difference in passenger fares, the difference in operational costs and the difference in the length of ship sailing time.
