Abstract
The effectiveness of loading and unloading performance is the use of resources, facilities and infrastructure in a period (a certain time set) in the size of a unit of time, unit of weight, ratio ratio (percentage) or unit of a certain amount that is consciously predetermined to produce a certain amount of loading and unloading work on time. Therefore PT Prima Nur Panurjwan is committed to continuously improving the service and productivity of loading and unloading performance. However, performance productivity is not always in accordance with the targets that have been determined annually. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the level of effectiveness of loading and unloading performance related to loading and unloading equipment, procedures, supervision, human resources. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of loading and unloading equipment, procedures, supervision, human resources partially on the effectiveness of loading and unloading performance (study at PT. Prima Nur Panurjwan Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta). This study also aims to analyse the positive and significant influence individually between the independent variables, namely equipment, procedures, supervision, and human resources on the dependent variable, namely the effectiveness of loading and unloading performance at PT Prima Nur Panurjwan. This research was conducted using the questionnaire method on employees and field workers with a population of 80 and a sample of 75 respondents. The analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = -1.887 + 0.365X1 + 0.257X2 + 0.306X3 + 0.209X4 + μ The results of multiple regression research show that there is a partial positive effect of loading and unloading equipment on the effectiveness of loading and unloading performance (t count 4.639 > t table 1.993), loading and unloading procedures on the effectiveness of loading and unloading performance (t count 3.091 > t table 1.993), supervision on the effectiveness of loading and unloading performance (t count 2.552 > t table 1.993), human resources on the effectiveness of loading and unloading performance (t count 2.182 > t table 1.993). From the regression equation it can be seen that the most dominant variable affecting the effectiveness of loading and unloading performance is the loading and unloading equipment variable with a regression coefficient of 0.365 and obtained the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square = 0, 629) means 62.9% while the rest (100% - 62.9%) = 37.1% is explained by other factors outside this research model.
