Abstract
This research aims to determine the analysis of the influence of the availability of road markings, traffic signs, road conditions and vehicle conditions on traffic safety in the city of Surakarta. In this research, the objects taken were motorists in Surakarta. Data sources include primary and secondary data. The sample in this study was 94 respondents. Data collection was carried out using observation methods, literature studies, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is a multiple linear regression technique which is first tested through a questionnaire test (validity and reliability) and classical assumption tests (autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, normality). The results of the analysis using the statistical tools of the SPSS V.25 program obtained a multiple linear regression equation: Y= 1.809 + 0.223.X1 + 0.302.X2 + 0.176.X3 + 0.208.X4 + µ The results of the multiple linear regression equation show that the Road Marking Availability Variable (X1) has tcount 2.548 > ttable 1.98667, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The Traffic Sign variable (X2) has tcount 3.324 > ttable 1.98667, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The Road Condition variable (X3) has tcount 2.692 > ttable 1.98667, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The Vehicle Condition Variable (X4) has tcount 2.772 > ttable 1.98667, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the research, conclusions can be drawn from the multiple linear regression analysis and the distribution of respondents' answers regarding the independent variables (Availability of Road Markings, Traffic Signs, Road Conditions, Vehicle Conditions) which have an influence on the dependent variable (Traffic Safety). Keywords: Availability of Road Markings, Traffic Signs, Road Conditions, Vehicle Conditions and Traffic Safety.
