Abstract

Job satisfaction is influenced by several factors including work stress, work load, work environment and compensation. The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is an influence of Work Stress, Work Load, Work Environment, and Compensation on Job Satisfaction at PT. Tomindomas Bulk Tank Terminal. In this research, the population is employees who work at PT. Tomindomas Bulk Tank Terminal using a sampling system with a total of 100 respondents (sample). The variables in the research consist of: Work Stress (X1), Work Load (X2), Work Environment (X3), and Compensation (X4) and the dependent variable is Job Satisfaction (Y). The research model is multiple linear analysis. The results of this analysis with the statistical help of the SPSS V.26 program obtained a multiple linear regression equation: Y = 4,863 - 0.068X1 - 0.088X2 + 0.317X3 + 0.411X4 + µ The results of the equation show that there is a negative and insignificant influence between Job Stress on Job Satisfaction Work (tcount fo r- 0.767 < ttable of 1.985), Workload on Job Satisfaction (tcount of -0.884 < ttable of 1.985), Positive and significant influence between the Work Environment on Job Satisfaction (tcount of 3.301 > ttable of 1.985), Compensation on Job Satisfaction (tcount of 3.967 > ttable of 1.985). Individually, Job Stress, Workload, Work Environment, and Compensation have an influence or not on Job Satisfaction. The influence of the four research variables with the coefficient (R Square) value obtained was 41% on job satisfaction and 59% was influenced by variables that were not detected in this study. Keywords: Work Stress, Workload, Work Environment, and Compensation.
